Founder, SihaTech
“We are building a trust protocol for the moments when your medical history becomes your most valuable asset.”
The Three-Day Silence. For the founder of SihaTech, the "status quo" broke in a hospital bed in Abu Dhabi. After surviving a catastrophic car accident and waking up three days later, he found himself caught in a global data void. Moving between specialists in the Middle East and Paris, he realized his medical history was a fragmented puzzle of incomplete scans and untranslatable jargon. "I had a PhD in blockchain and a background in high-pressure finance—I understood systems and risk," he explains. "Yet in healthcare, the most vital system of all, I was invisible. I watched doctors making high-stakes decisions without the full picture. It wasn't just inconvenient; it was a clinical risk. I realized that if the data doesn't follow the patient, the care cannot follow the science."
From Digital Filing to Intelligent Translation. The industry has long assumed that "digitizing healthcare" simply means document storage. SihaTech is built on a different conviction: Storage is secondary to understanding. The platform operates on two distinct layers: a secure, CNDP-compliant "trust architecture" for data integrity, and an AI-powered "translation layer" that simplifies complex medical results for the patient. "Healthcare doesn't just need digital filing; it needs intelligent interpretation. We are building a system where the patient isn't just a subject of the data, but the owner and translator of it."
The Pivot to Frictionless Adoption. During the residency at The Forge, the founder faced a brutal realization: Architecture alone does not create adoption. "My instinct was to build a fortress from day one—deeply institutional and technically perfect. But if the front door is too heavy to open, no one comes in." This led to a strategic pivot: simplifying onboarding and introducing "progressive profiling." By making the barrier to entry low while keeping the backend "institution-ready," SihaTech evolved from a complex tool into a consumer-adoptable necessity.
The Momentum: A National Shift. With Morocco accelerating health digitization through the Dossier Médical Partagé (DMP) and the Feuille de soins électronique (FSE), the infrastructure for a unified health ID is finally arriving. "We studied the failures of global giants like France, where 85% of health accounts remain inactive. We learned that scale without usage is a failure. SihaTech is designed to bridge that gap—turning national health building blocks into a usable, trusted continuity layer." Combining the technical depth of a PhD in blockchain with the execution discipline of a $10M AUM investment banker, the founder of SihaTech is building a "Born Global" infrastructure from the heart of Morocco.
