“We are standardizing the 'ugly' edge cases of logistics to ensure that trust and liquidity are never the variables in the equation.”
The Crisis: The Reliability Gap. In the world of e-commerce, the "last mile" is often a black hole of trust. Between the parcel, the Cash-on-Delivery (COD) collection, and the final reconciliation, the loop is currently powered by informal processes and fragmented data. "The system doesn't just become inefficient—it becomes unreliable by design," the founder observes. "Late reconciliations and cash leakage aren't just logistical headaches; they are structural risks that break the trust between merchants, carriers, and couriers. When this fails, people don't just lose time—they lose the liquidity required to keep their businesses alive."
COD is an Infrastructure Problem. The industry standard assumes that Cash-on-Delivery is inherently "messy" and can only be solved by turning logistics providers into banks. CoRelais is built on the opposite conviction: you win by building execution infrastructure. By instrumenting every physical step—storage, labeling, inventory moves, and reverse flows—into clean, auditable digital events, the team has industrialized the process. "We aren't trying to 'financialize' the problem. We are building an operating system that makes every scan and handoff a trustworthy data point. To an engineer, it's a high-variance distributed system; to a merchant, it's finally being able to predict their cash flow."
From "Pickup Points" to an Operating System. The residency at The Forge provided a brutal, necessary pivot. The team realized that their value wasn't just in providing "pickup points"; it was in providing the Operating System for Micro-Hubs. "The Forge forced a product redesign around industrialization. We moved away from artisanal management toward codified workflows and capacity planning driven by AI." By using applied AI to qualify real-world capacity from simple inputs like photos, CoRelais can now onboard points and plan volume with a precision that was impossible five years ago.
The Rare Intersection. With the launch of 100 points across Morocco—from Casablanca to Agadir—and partnerships with giants like SDTM and Chronopost, CoRelais is proving the model in one of the world's most demanding environments. "This isn't a feature war; it's an infrastructure war. We've chosen proof through execution over theory, designing a system that holds under pressure. We aren't just tracking parcels; we are standardizing reality."
